The Operating Theatre suite in the Main Block consists of 14 operating rooms. A variety of surgical procedures can be performed here. They are classified as minimal invasive, general, neurological, urological, cardiothoracic, orthopaedic, ophthalmic, ENT, obstetrics and gynaecological surgeries. In order to give full support to our surgeons and to ensure adequacy and safety for users, existing equipments are regularly mantained through contracts. Extra surgical instruments are available when new demand arises. The department is well equipped with advanced and precise instruments. Surveillance of the theatre environment is constantly on our working agenda. Ventilation system is regularly disinfected and the humidity, temperature and frequency of air change are under well monitoring. Air sampling is our routine to ensure high quality of air for strict infection control and patients' safety during operations.
